Shipping is normally done with FedEx. Orders generally take 10 business days from date of purchase. All our items are made-to-order, so the processing time will depend on our current workload. If the item you are purchasing is for a special occasion or needs a rush order please contact us before purchasing so we can give you an estimate to be sure your item is on time. All finish colors may vary from what you see on your computer screen. As we all know, colors are going to look different from one computer screen, smart phone, or tablet to another. The finish is also going to vary when applied to wood. If you have questions about any of our finishes, please message us directly.
Our wood is not reclaimed, and it is not old barn wood. Our finishes are made to appear like reclaimed wood without the cost of true reclaimed wood. Since all our products are made from wood, you may notice a slight twist, bend, or curve to your piece. We do everything in our power to make sure the wood is as straight as can be – most of our items will have 3/4″ backing strips to reinforce and straighten the wood. These strips are painted dark brown so they are not visible when looking from the side. All items larger than 15 x 24 will be supplied with a Cable Wire. Smaller items will have a saw tooth hanger. The only thing you will need is a single screw and possibly an anchor – DO NOT use a nail.
All of our items are carved – they are not laser engraved. They are all solid wood, as we do not glue or adhere layers together.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can’t accept returns for:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately. We can arrange to have the item remade or discuss a refund. We allow refund up to 14 days after the item has been shipped.
Packages in route aren’t always handled with the most TLC. If this should be the case and you receive your item with damages we ask that you take pictures of those damages and contact Howdy Owl immediately.
We ask that all buyers provide addresses for shipping that are able to be checked frequently. Every now and then an item is lost in route. It is neither Howdy Owl nor the customer’s fault. Please contact us immediately so we can remake the item.
If the item you purchased was a gift for someone else and it is damaged or they/you are not satisfied please have the purchaser contact us immediately.
